So far we have two people willing to drive, including myself, 3 if needed. Personally I'd like to stay until sunset and see what might occur. Right now I know of at least 8 of us going, some of you are driving yourselves and others are riding along, if you would like to carpool down there, I will be driving (=daisyflower2003) as well as ~sdoorex. Please note me (=daisyflower2003) if you will be carpooling! I need to know how many drivers we need.

So, leaving time is going to be at 5:00am and meet at 20th St. Skate park & Little Raven just East of I-25 (2205 19th Street): [link]

The plan is to at least drive down there together, once there, take a group photo and the parties can do what they want--get breakfast, we meet for lunch at the zoo [link] at 12:30pm as a group, then depending on who's group/car your in you can stay as long as you like.


Hey all =daisyflower2003 here, wanted to inform everyone of something I've been wanting to do for quite some time and that is visit the zoo. Now most of us have all been to the Denver Zoo too many times which is why I propose a fun trip to the Springs to see the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, weather permitting. If there is time and daylight perhaps a visit to the Garden of the Gods.

I know this is early notice but I would like as many of us to go as possible, not to mention that the Rockies are not in town that day so =trevg *sasquatchum and anyone else working the Rockies games can go.

Heya Denver!

For future reference, if you ever want to organize a devmeet or event, create a journal entry and *denverart staff will happily help promote it by linking to your journal. This will make communication between interested parties much smoother by directing all correspondence directly to you.

Of course, *denverart will still be hosting events. I have heard there is interest in having meets at the aquarium and zoo here in Denver, as well as the zoo in Colorado Springs. I for one would love to re-visit the Garden of the Gods. In addition, =kkart suggested a massive devmeet near the sunflower fields by DIA. (Check his stuff in the featured artist section.) We'll get together with the ~colorado organizers for that. Also, I may be making a trip to Yellowstone over the summer. More on that later...
